Purpose
Know your purpose, and the rest will work itself out.
For as long as I can remember, I have found myself motivated to help others. I don’t know why; it’s just who I am. I’m not coming from a place of trauma or payback. It’s not part of some grand strategy that I have planned out. It’s just who I am.
I’m motivated to help others reach their individual and collective potential.
I’m motivated to play my part in finding breakthrough solutions to seemingly impossible conflicts.
I believe in people–and I rarely find myself gravitating toward one “side” of a conflict. I’ve witnessed too many conflicts that were simply predicated on a unfortunate blend of good intentions and gross misunderstanding.
Thus, my purpose in life, as I have known it for as long as I can remember, is to help folks get along more effectively. There are no specific causes or issues toward which I feel more dedicated or interested. I simply see the world as a place where we are all in this together, and I believe we are capable of a level of cooperation and collaboration for which there is simply no precedent.
